God, Family, Friends, and Rodeo

My Story

Marvin had a challenging childhood.  He was in foster care until his adoption at 8 years old.  Then  our sweet guy experienced more trauma when his sister, Hannah, suffered a devastating health event that would forever change our family.  Unfortunately, that wasn't all as his BFF and younger brother, Timothy,  passed away with Leukemia.  Through it all, Marvin's faith in God has remained strong.  Even at a young age he showed just how "tough" he really can be when presented with challenges.

A few years ago he found Special Needs Rodeo and hasn't looked back since.  We are all so proud of him and so thankful for all that SAY Rodeo and his trainer, Shell, do for him!

Volunteering & Community Engagements

Marvin is dedicated to inspiring young minds in elementary schools by sharing his passion for horses, roping, barrels, and the exciting world of rodeo. Beyond the rodeo arena, he gives back to the community by volunteering to feed those less fortunate and delivering toys to children in need during Christmas. His commitment to teaching and helping others makes a positive impact  on the lives of many.

Achievements

Marvin receives awards for participating in the rodeo. He has earned buckles, jackets, ribbons and even won the award for Best Chili in 2024!  Go Cowboy!

Future Goals

Marvin is a dreamer with big aspirations! He envisions going pro and winning the million-dollar prize, all while planning to treat his mom to a beautiful getaway in Hawaii. Alongside these goals, he dreams of owning his ranch and horses, and he’s passionate about helping others learn about these magnificent animals. With such determination, there's no doubt that Marvin is on the path to achieving his dreams!

Thank you to all my  friends who continue to support my dreams!
